Ashley Sylvester (Sylvi) is a leader in the circus community of Chicago. She spent most of her life growing up in dance studios & theaters until she eventually found her passion and became a circus artist in 2012.

After beginning her circus training in 2012, Ashley graduated from the Actors Gymnasium's Professional Circus Training Program in 2016; majoring in Aerial Sling and minoring in Hula Hooping. She has traveled all over the world from Greece to LA, mastering her craft while working with the top leaders in the industry. Following her circus school training she then became a certified 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified instructor, as well as becoming certified in Yoga Sculpt, Barre, Pilates & Aerial Yoga Instructor. Her primary movement studies feature hula hoops, sling, lyra, silks, aerial yoga, yoga, dance, acrobatics character acting and fire performing.

Ashley (Sylvi) currently owns and operates Chicago’s largest circus facility Chicago Aerial Arts featuring an array of classes for all bodies and all levels. She is the artistic director of Chicago Aerial Art’s company Chi Cirque and also owns a Chicago based production company called Sylvi Circus Arts.

Ashley (Sylvi) is also known for curating top of the line entertainment for corporate and private events performing for clients as big as the NFL, Green Day and Linked In. You may see Ashley (Sylvi) at her regular residency venues such as Alhambra Palace, The Drifter & Untitled Supper club or touring nationwide.
